I was invited by Decks for Change to contribute to their 2023 Fundraiser, ‘Dacks for Change'.
My dacks are inspired by my research into the history of denim, where I discovered like many things it had been whitewashed. These hand-painted dacks are a celebration of counterculture, rebellion, solidarity and liberation.
The exhibition featured 24 Naarm-based artists who customised 24 pairs of second-hand pants to raise money for creating a skatepark in Dili, Timor Leste with Timor Skate.
